​Inese Kalnaja joined Rödl Latvia in 2018, but her professional experience started in 1998 in a small law firm specializing in industrial property law. This was soon followed by additional professional qualifications as a Latvian and European patent attorney in the field of trademarks and designs. 

In 2006 Inese joined one of the largest law firms in Latvia, where she gained experience in competition law in Latvia and the European Union. The work included participation in litigation related to defamation, invasion of privacy, dissemination of false information and moral damages. 

Inese also has extensive experience in employment law, gained at Accenture Latvia. In addition, Inese has significant experience in compliance matters (including the development of internal compliance policies and employee training).​
