Kristine Zvejniece-Taurene

Kristine Zvejniece-Taurene is a lawyer specialising in business acquisitions, real estate and commercial law. Kristīne joined Rödl Latvia in 2005 as an associate and has since advised a wide range of international clients in various sectors, including real estate, retail, energy and agriculture. 

Over the last 10 years Kristīne has focused on foreign investors' start-up activities in Latvia, including providing legal and tax support, as well as managing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) .

Since 2024, Kristīne is also responsible for the development of the Rödl Latvia office and team, including the audit and business process outsourcing services. Kristīne has been active for more than 10 years in the International young lawyers association​ as well as in Rödl's international practice groups​​. 

Kristīne knows that every situation can be solved if the right people are involved in the project, with a genuine interest in the specifics of the client's business.

- Advising foreign investors on strategic investments in Latvia's real estate and energy sectors, from structuring the transaction to concluding contracts and providing post-closing support.

- Leading international mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions in the Baltics, including complex multi-jurisdictional.

- Design and implementation of asset management and internal control procedures in multinational concerns, adapting them to the local regulatory environment.

- Supporting companies through reorganization and growth phases, including corporate structure review and risk management.

- Building long-term relationships with clients in the IT, real estate and construction, energy and aviation sectors.

- Co-managing the growth and development of the firm, ensuring high client satisfaction and credibility of the Rödl brand in Latvia.​
